Click, click and clicking away - these past couple of years now. Have managed to fill two external drives of 'raw' pics. And only a few of them, satisfactory enough, to enter my gallery. Moving my pen round and round to make that perfect circle but still some way to go before I a get there though.
Torn between my professional life and my passion for creativity - capturing my interests through the lens and exhausting battle coupled with my various insert dividing my time, making it hard to hone my skills in just one thing and one thing alone. Something I had learnt and had been taught very early in my life – but – never able to put to practice.
Still go out on shoots; like taking snaps of structures and landscapes and so much more than I care to list. All I think I have been able to really improve is on my lightroom skills. My real frustration I guess is when I can't distinguish between a really good picture and an average one: I am confused that way. Most times someone has to tell me when I have done something good.
But this burning desire pushes me one. Pushes me on to keep visiting this site and looking, learning and taking mental notes. Putting aside a few hours just to draw straight lines and circles and sometimes ¾ angled portraits – read thorough anatomy books and drawing techniques. Manipulate a bit, illustrate a bit. Indulge myself a bit. Satisfy myself a bit.

Since I got my initial camera's I have been hooked into photography and have recently upgraded to Canon's 550D and 50mm prime F1.4 lens. I can boldly admit that I have a turned into a prolific photographer.
Both my camera's have taken permanent residency in my car's back seat, only to be moved to take shots and downloaded onto my laptop and back again. With thousands of shot on my hard drive I have started to struggle with space on it. And am starting to back them on to my mobile drive, to free space on my computer. My only fear was I would turn to a full time photographer and lose my other skills. So I have started to 'Merge' both of them; only to discover recently what I call manipulation up till now is such a huge part of photography that don't even consider it to be that - manipulation.
So I guess my skills after all will be of some use to my photography. I have a decided: I will be sharing my work. Just a few worthy pieces. And so begins another section of my work along with what I have been doing all this time.

  Hi guys, its me. Live and kicking I am still around. Just not very interactive like I used to. Cause I started off with my A levels after four years. Its a hard juggle work, studies and art along with the other things which come with life.
  I have been working on art like I used to and have done some pieces to, one of which i submited today Its hard to break off from one style and theme which i did for quite some time. Hi folks, I am back and all energized. You think I had a limitless supply of caffein like the energizer bunny
I came back for a number of shocks just waiting to greet me.. First I lost all my data... my work I had done for the past eight striaght years.. whowee!! My ISP had blocked DA for some strange reason and my car had a dent on the drivers door.. :scream: For some strange reason I tried opening DA now and it just poped open wow !! I'm just wishing and praying my ISP had a change of heart and decided DA was not so evil.. see we got a monopoly here and they have zero tolerance here for any kind of nudity.. may it be artistic or any kind.. I belive thats the reason it got blocked ..
Other then all that I had a gr8 time on my vacation. Feel so fresh and calm.. look no more stress I had got to see my dad and my bro. All my cousins, we had such good fun. The house we are building is coming along just fine. I'll have to go back after a few months for it. Just to have a looksie. I learn't how to ride a bike and a tractor. WARNING  "never drive a tractor for more then six hours" its shakes real hard. I lost 6 kgs that would be 12 lbs I think.. I swear I did. sorry no pics folks. I did take some on my cousines cellphone, but he lost the damn phone sorry :sigh:
If I am not able to post nothing back or able to reply then you would know that I just got lucky and was able to get through just once. And if you see again around here.. . I just hope that happens I would so hate for that not to happen.
